About Us

I started North Texas Waterfowl Studio in 2012 with the intent of providing quality, ‘birds-only’ taxidermy to Wylie and surrounding area. An avid duck hunter, I enjoy as many days in the field as I can, company often includes my wife who also enjoys hunting as well as other family, friends, and of course my lab Beau.

I enjoy all aspects of hunting and even enjoy carving my own decoys to add to the experience.

Decoys

I feel the best way to improve is to have others critique my work. Taxidermy conventions provide that opportunity as well as seminars by top level taxidermists across the nation. In 2012 I started my taxidermy career as well as competing.
